No PPM for a while

With the loss of a beloved pet "Cajun" our family dog of eight years, I find it difficult to have a pet peeve other than ones towards myself.

WTH

Why do businesses even have a phone number anymore? You call for help or information and they want you to email or fax your request. WTH I just took the time to call you and now I have to do something else to get the same information. Lame.

That guy Murphy and his laws

Yeah, so the AC goes out right when we begin to need it. To the tune of around $4000ish. So the one about if something can go wrong, it will. Well it did and it does.

More people

The sleazy kind who creep your street and driveway and when confronted ask you; "have you seen a lost dog?" I say "no" out loud and in my head "and you don't look like a Chihuahua owner and I know for a fact you don't live around the corner."

Those people

You know the ones. The ones who as you walk towards pretend to search for God knows what on their stupid cell phone instead of engaging in a hello or just a simple head nod.

Are you that insensitive to give a simple acknowledgement of existence to another human being?

Out of 22 messages on the machine, only 2 were actual messages.

When I'm trying to watch something

This never fails, I'm watching a bike race and for the last 2 hours no calls. Then in the final seconds when all of the action happens the phone rings off the hook, I answer and miss the action. Never fails.

Bike riding on the trail in town

Why is it when two oncoming riders there is always the one who won't move over? What? Are we playing bicycle chicken? Look dude move the heck over this isn't your personal bike path.

Where to start? That I didn't take an opportunity to make a difference. That difference is becoming the scientist I wanted to be and find a cure for breast cancer so some other child would not have to see their mother die.

BIGGEST PEEVE OF ALL

Dillweeds in a theater that JUST HAVE to check their dadgum cell phone every fifteen ephing minutes. HELLO your phone is like a WWII spotlight looking for bombers overhead. I told a guy tonight "DO YOU MIND?" He quit.

Stupid people

When someone knowing that performng an act or action with the possibility of impending doom or bodily harm go ahead anyway. I know fire is hot and that it's going to hurt if I stick my hand in it.

Cinco de Mayo

This is a big peeve. Cinco de Mayo [May 5th] is not Independence Day for Mexico.

It commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla.
